Last year's Lotto sales were 3.96 trillion won.I wrote a new record after 15 years.

Lotto tickets sold nearly 4 trillion won last year, the largest number of people who dreamed of turning their lives around.
However because there were no new outlets for Lotto stores, the increase in sales volume slowed down a bit.

According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance and the lottery operator, the sales of Lotto tickets were estimated at 3.96 trillion won (potential).
Considering that it costs 1,000 won per game, the sales volume is about 3.96 billion won.

Last year's sales and sales were all the highest ever.

The previous record for Lotto sales was 3.82 trillion won in 2003, when it was 2,000 won for a game. Last year, it sold 141.6 billion won more than that.

The previous record of sales volume is 2017, when more than 3.79 billion won (3.2 billion dollars) were sold.

According to the National Statistical Office's population estimate (51.64 million people) last year, each person bought 76.8 games of Lotto. The amount means that each person spent 76,800 won on Lotto.

The average daily sales of Lotto are about 10.87 billion won.

While 3.96 trillion won was sold last year, a total of 1.983 trillion won (excluding taxes) was paid to the winners through 52 drawings.

According to the winning figures, 484 people had the luck of winning the first place in the 788-89. The average winning figure for each first-place runner was 1.961 billion won.

However, the first prize was also 'unhappy.'

In the 822th round, which was drawn on September 1, only three first-ranked players came out. The winner of the first prize was 5.93 billion won, the biggest prize of last year.

On the other hand, in the 802th episode on April 14, 16 winners were won, making each person the least amount among the top winners last year with 1.083 billion won.

Last year, the largest number of rounds sold was 825 (drawed by Sept. 22), which sold 82.89 billion won worth of lotto tickets for a week. On the other hand, the 818th (drawed on August 4) sales were 71.79 billion won, the lowest in the year.

The combined number of winners from the first to fifth place last year was 94.47 million.
Although Lotto sales and sales reached record highs last year, the increase is 일본야동
slowing down a bit.

LaRo, which began selling in the second half of 2002, was truly sensational as one of the first winners, who won a record 40.72 billion won on April 12, 2003.

In the wake of the gambling controversy, the government reduced the number of Lotto winners to two months and lowered the price per game from 2,000 won to 1,000 won in August 2004.

As a result, Lotto sales continued to decline, falling to 2.2677 trillion won in 2007.

Since then, sales of Lotto, which has been on a rebound, have steadily increased.

Since lottery tickets are called "dust products" that sell better as the economy gets worse, last year's biggest sales record may be attributed to the economic downturn.

However, the Ministry of Finance and Economy explained, "The effect of the steady increase in Lotto stores by 2017 was only significant until last year, but it is irrelevant to the economy."

The reason for this is that its sales growth rate has slowed from 9.5 percent in 2016 to 6.5 percent in 2017 and 4.4 percent last year.

Meanwhile, the sales limit of Lotto through the Internet this year has been set at around 189.3 billion won.

Internet Lotto sales, which started from last month, will be limited to 5 percent compared to last year's sales.

"Lotto sales increased slightly last year due to the lack of new Lotto stores in the past year," said an official from the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.
